HOSTEL FACILITES

Hostel facilities are available and is compulsory for all outstation students. Candidates will have to deposit a caution money as prescribed at the time of admission, which will be refunded at the time of leaving the institution after deducting dues if any.

Candidates will have to pay a monthly rent as fixed by the management. In addition they will have to pay the mess charges every month as decided by the Hostel Warden.

 

RULES & REGULATIONS

  1. It is compulsory that all outstation students must stay in the College Hostel.
  2. Consumption of alcohol, addictive drugs, etc. are strictly prohibited in the hostels. Any student found with this quality of offence, will be debarred from the sessional exams. If the offence is repeated, his/her admission will stand cancelled.
  3. Misbehaviour with any staff member (teaching or non-teaching) of the institution will result in the candidate being debarred from the sessional exams or will be expelled from the institution depending upon seriousness of the matter.
  4. If the student is involved in fighting or disturbance, he will be find a sum of Rs. 600/- at the first instance and will be debarred from the sessional exams on repeating the same offence.
  5. The hostelites(Boys) should be in their hostels before 9.00 p.m.
  6. The hostelites(Girls) should be in their hostels before 6.00 p.m.
  7. Visitors including parents and relatives will not be allowed into the hostel without prior permission from the warden.
  8. The hostelites must obtain prior written permission from the warden, if they want to go out an Sundays and other holidays. On such days, he.she must return to the hostel before 6.00 p.m.
  9. Except for hostelites, no outsider/ex-student/pharmacist trainee/relatives will not be allowed entry into the hostel without prior permission of the warden. Any hostelite breaking this rule will be severely dealt with and may be liable to be debarred from the sessional exams.
  10. No hostelites (Boys) should go near the ladies hostel.
  11. No hostelites (Girls) should go near the boys hostel.
  12. All the hostelites should bring their mess card when they come to the mess for food.
  13. All the hostelites should follow the mess timings strictly. No food will be served after the scheduled timings.
  14. No food will be allowed from the mess without prior permission from the warden.
  15. Cooking in the hostel by the hostilities use strictly prohibited.
  16. Audio systems must be put off before 10 p.m. as it may cause disturbance to other students and neighbours.
  17. The hostelites should not behave in a disorderly or unruly manner in the hostel, so as to cause any disturbance to the neighbourhood. If any complaints are received from the neighbours, the management will take strict action against the concerned hostelites. His/her admission may even be cancelled.
  18. The hostelites are responsible for the furniture and fixtures in their respective rooms. It is the responsibility of the hostelites to maintain their rooms in good condition. Any damage to or theft of any their furniture or fixtures wil be paid by the hostelites of the concerned room. There will be no replacement of tube lights or bulbs or any fixtures in the Hostel.
  19. The hostelites must hand over the room allotted to him/her at the end of the academic year, in the same condition that it was, before she/he took possession.
  20. if any student is of the institution is found involved in any activity that is dertrimental to the prestige, goodwill and working of the institution, he/she will be terminated without notice from the institution.
  21. Ragging or harrasment of any student/s by other student/s is a criminal offence. Any student/students found involved in such activities will be immediately expelled from the institution.
  22. Ex-students should obtain prior permission from the warden for the use of hostel and mess facilities
  23. Students are not allowed to enter the kitchen area of the mess.
  24. The students must clear all dues before filling his/her final examination application form, failing which, the form will not be submitted to the Board/University.
  25. Every student is expected to live up to the decorum / decency for which college stands. Any student who damages the reputation of the institution in any way may be expelled.
  26. Hostel rent will be charged for complete academic year (i.e. 12 months) irrespective of holidays.
  27. All hostelites must pay their mess charges on or before 10th of every month. A fine of Rs.2/- per day, will be levied for the delayed payments. The last date for receipt of payment with fine will be 30th of every moth, failing which his/her name will be removed from the hostel register and he/she will have to pay Rs.100/- as re-admission charge
  28. Repeaters wil not be allowed to stay outside the hostel.
  29. Electrical appliances like heater, immersion rods, iron box, etc. should not be used by the hostelite without prior permission from the warden.
  30. All hostelites should switch-off alt the electrical appliances before leaving the hostel rooms.
  31. Electricity and water charges will be borne by the hostelites on dividing system.
